Tamunotonte “Tonte” Fenny received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish as well as his J.D. from the University of Alabama. He is a member of both the Alabama State Bar and the New Jersey State Bar. Tonte was a legal intern at the University of Alabama criminal defense clinic, domestic violence clinic, Children’s Rights Clinic and the Office of the Public Defender in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

Tonte was associate attorney in Fenny & Fenny LLC before joining Jeelani Law Firm, PLC as an Associate Attorney in 2022. He regularly makes court appearances throughout the United States in Federal Courts as well as before the Board of Immigration Appeals. Tonte’s interests include drumming, playing the saxophone slam poetry, and of course playing soccer. Tonte is currently of counsel with this Firm.
